In early 2020, a parcel of stones representing some unique material found in early 2020 from the island of Nusa Kambangan, Central Java, Indonesia, was sent to Taiwan Union Lab of Gem Research for certification service.
Because its texture was very similar to the green-blue pectolite variety Larimar produced in the Dominican Republic, the stone was also misrepresented with the trade name “pink Larimar.”
Although initially misrepresented by the merchant as thomsonite or pink Larimar, its beautiful appearance and durability are indeed comparable to Larimar.
This natrolite from Indonesia has a unique rose pink color and Larimar-like texture on polished surfaces, which is not common in natrolite from other localities.
Subsequently, a new trade name “rhodatrolite,” meaning “rose natrolite,” was developed by the merchant for marketing this gemstone because of its color and texture.
By observing the rough stones with host rocks provided by the supplier, the occurrence was found to be vein-filling or cavity-filling within basalt. Basalt stones carry the warmth of the earth’s embrace, born of ancient fire and cooled by time, holding within them a steady rhythm that soothes both body and soul.
To lie with basalt is to be reminded that even fire, once fierce, can become a source of comfort and deep, enduring love and this is what the stone’s host is!
Natrolite is a Synergy 12 crystal that brings big-time pain relief, and in its pink variety, it eases the pain of the heart.
It assists in the healing of cellular regeneration, energy balance, vitality, or support for physical well-being.
It is also considered to be a high-vibrational crystal believed to facilitate physical healing, and the opening of heart and crown chakras.
Its high vibrations are thought to cleanse and purify the body’s energy field, clearing negative energies and, in turn, bringing you back to a natural state of calm and balance.
