Hey there! my name is Chris and I am the brains of this operation…not really…but I am the wife to the man who started Lake House Gems. I have been in the jewelry industry for over 25 years as a full-time job. I have been a bench jeweler at a fine jewelry store for over 15 years. My hands are dirty, beaten up, scarred, and cut and I love every minute of it!

My love for rocks have been for my entire life, or at least since I was old enough to pick them up. Gemstones are happiness. They are my hobby, craft, passion, and outlet. Just can’t ever get enough. This is what I do, and have always done. Our Savior has placed beautiful pieces of heaven, scattered, all on this earth and for this I am so thankful.❤️

My husband Anthony is the Director of Construction at an electrical company. His love for rocks has been forced on him for the past 15 years of our marriage.

Last year we purchased some land in the foothills of the Smokies. We discussed ways that we could eventually build our forever home. His idea was Lakehouse gems. He put this company together. He named it. His love and knowledge of gems grows daily and it is so fun to experience it all over again through him. Together.

Here at Lake House Gems we take pride in the lapidary side of our business as well. All of our pendants are hand-drilled but we also create pieces from slabs as well. We like to call this our Rocky to Refined TM design. Be sure to keep an eye out for our one of a kind hand cut, polished and drilled pendants! As our website grows we will be sure to add photos of the process.
