Indigo Moonstone

This beautiful piece once was mine. So this is some of the first mined indigo moonstone!

I polished and shaped this one through a seven wheel process.

It is pretty incredible. I love the flash on the side.

•Found in the Black Hills of South Dakota, an area that is considered the sacred center of the world to many, this specimen contains a Feldspar mixture of Albite and Microcline. Some may also contain Smoky Quartz, Clear Quartz, Black Tourmaline, and hematite.

•Yes, Euphorialite is mined the Black Hills and, yes, these are some of the same minerals that are in Euphorialite but this material does not register on a ion meter like the euphorialite does.
